Memorial Way starts at the intersection of 54th Street and 57th Avenue by Deer Meadow School and goes northwest to the intersection of 46th Avenue and Highway 27, by the fire hall.

In addition, the Town of Olds has launched a commemorative banner project in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion.

Twenty-eight banners will be on permanent display along Memorial Way to honour the contribution made by the Canadian Armed Forces, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Olds Fire Department, AHS Emergency Medical Services and Olds Search and Rescue.

The dedication ceremony on Nov. 1 will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Emergency Services Building (5110 65th Ave., commonly known as the fire hall).
