OLDS - The southbound lanes of Highway 2 east of Olds have re-opened after multiple collisions Friday morning forced their closure.

At about 4:40 p.m. 511 Alberta reported southbound lanes near the Highway 27 junction were opened. They were closed shortly before 9 a.m. this morning due to a number of jack-knifed semis and vehicles involved in collisions.

By noon Friday, multiple collisions which closed northbound Highway 2 about three kilometres north of the Didsbury overpass had been cleared.
