Billed as the world’s only Bavarian rodeo, Oldstoberfest crowned winners over the weekend with a trophy stein rather than the traditional belt buckle.
While the rodeo was the main attraction of the Sept. 15 – 16 event, there were biergartens, concerts and even a stein holding competition. Thousands of people took in all that Oldstoberfest had to offer, inlcuding Premier Danielle Smith, who helped open the event Friday.
Rodeo action kicked off Friday night and wrapped up Saturday with a total payout of $69,306.20.
