TORONTO — Bet99 has added soccer star Sebastian Giovinco, Toronto FC's all-time leading scorer, as an ambassador.
Bet99 made the announcement Wednesday.
Giovinco joins the likes of UFC Hall of Famer Georges St-Pierre, NHL all-star Auston Matthews and two-time Olympian Alysha Newman with Bet99.
Giovinco joins Bet99 on the same day Canada faces Belgium in its opening Group F game of the World Cup.
Canada is back in the soccer showcase for the first time since 1986 when it went 0-3 and did not score a goal.
As part of the agreement with BET99, Giovinco will host an Instagram Live appearance and provide picks and predictions for upcoming World Cup games.
