Hut 8 Mining Corp. (TSX:HUT). Financials. Up 32 cents, or 14.41 per cent, to $2.54 on 7.9 million shares.
Royal Bank of Canada (TSX:RY). Financials. Up 24 cents, or 0.18 per cent, to $134.71 on 6.3 million shares.
ECN Capital Corp. (TSX:ECN). Financials. Up three cents, or 1.06 per cent, to $2.85 on 5.6 million shares.

Magnet Forensics Inc. (TSX:MAGT). Up $5.31, or 13.85 per cent, to $43.66. Magnet Forensics Inc. said it will be bought and taken private in a $1.8-billion deal signed with Thoma Bravo, a U.S. private equity firm operating in the software sector. Waterloo, Ont.-based Magnet Forensics sells tools used to investigate digital crimes and cyberattacks. It said the deal signed with Thoma Bravo amounts to a 15 per cent premium on the closing share price reached Thursday and a 41 per cent premium on its 90-day average.
Sun Life Financial Inc. (TSX:SLF). Up 89 cents, or 1.38 per cent, to $65.54. Sun Life Financial Inc. said it has struck a 15-year deal to be the exclusive provider of insurance products for Hong Kong-based Dah Sing Bank Ltd. The insurance giant said it will pay about $260 million for the arrangement, with ongoing variable payments to Dah Sing Bank based on the success of the partnership. Toronto-based Sun Life said the deal between its subsidiary Sun Life Hong Kong Ltd. and Dah Sing will give its more than 2,500 insurance advisers the option to provide services to the bank's 570,000 retail customers.
