Air Canada (TSX:AC). Industrials. Down $1.95, or 8.42 per cent, to $21.20 on 9.8 million shares.
Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU). Energy. Down $1.08, or 2.37 per cent, to $44.59 on 7.6 million shares.
Cenovus Energy Inc. (TSX:CVE). Energy. Down 34 cents, or 1.37 per cent, to $24.51 on 7.1 million shares.
Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB). Energy. Down 33 cents, or 0.63 per cent, to $52.38 on 7.1 million shares.
Summit Industrial Income REIT (TSX:SMU.UN). Real estate. Up 26 cents, or 1.12 per cent, to $23.46 on 6.6 million shares.
Hut 8 Mining Corp. (TSX:HUT). Financials. Up eight cents, or 3.03 per cent, to $2.72 on 5.9 million shares.

Air Canada — Air Canada posted a $168-million profit in its most recent quarter as passenger and operating revenues reached record highs. The Montreal-based airline said its fourth-quarter profit amounted to 41 cents per diluted share and compared with a loss of $493 million or $1.38 in the same period during 2021. The airline said its profit for the period ended Dec. 31 included a foreign exchange gain of $316 million and covered the busy holiday season. Its adjusted earnings totalled $389 million, an increase from $22 million in the fourth quarter of 2021.
TransAlta Corp. (TSX:TA). Up 11 cents, or 0.9 per cent, to $12.29. TransAlta Corp. said it will acquire a 50 per cent interest in an early-stage pumped hydro energy storage development project in southwest Alberta. The Calgary company said Montem Resources Ltd. currently owns the Tent Mountain Renewable Energy Complex the two companies will jointly manage with TransAlta acting as project developer. Under the deal, TransAlta will pay Montem about $8 million, when the deal closes, with additional payments of up to $17 million contingent on the achievement of development and commercial milestones.
