Police find two dead, one with life-threatening injuries at Hamilton home

HAMILTON — Police are investigating after two people were found dead at a home southwest of Toronto. Hamilton police say the investigation began at 1 p.m. after it found two dead people at a residence in the city's east end.

HAMILTON — Police are investigating after two people were found dead at a home southwest of Toronto.

Hamilton police say the investigation began at 1 p.m. after it found two dead people at a residence in the city's east end.

The Hamilton Paramedic Service says it responded to a medical call around  that time and pronounced two people dead.

Supt. Dave Thompson says paramedics also found a man believed to be in his 40s and took him to hospital in life-threatening condition.

Police have not provided details on what led to them to the home or the circumstances surrounding the deaths but say more information will be released.

It says officers are working to notify next of kin.
