TORONTO — A 47-year-old man is dead after a Friday night shooting in northwest Toronto.
City police say they responded to reports of a shooting inside a bar at Islington Avenue and Steeles Avenue West on Friday evening.
They say the man had multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say they are appealing for witnesses and the investigation is ongoing.
Police have identified the victim as Robert Khananisho of Toronto.
His death marks Toronto's 16th homicide of the year so far.
