And we feel not embarrassed having disputes with you and the town managers, who are full of small-town arrogance. We have at no time opposed the pipeline and have agreed to let the survey go ahead not to delay the project, because people have to live in the sometimes terrible stench of the Olds wastewater plant. Since we had seen enough of out-of-control reckless bureaucratic irresponsibility and arrogance (collector items) we have withdrawn our objections and not because of being asked of finding a solution. What you call a solution should have been obvious from the beginning. In fact you have done nothing in nine months to find a resolution and after a fake meeting you filed for expropriation in less than four weeks without any recourse to us. You wanted it this way from the beginning, didn't you?Congratulations for your probably well-paid job after retiring as CAO of Olds. Congratulations to the Town of Olds too for having such a nice rent income out of provincial money and having such a beautiful new designed mostly yellow ring logo. I've been told it is desired by horse breeders all over Alberta to beautify their BIG horses' butts. There will be more recourse in paid advertisement from me, when this project is really over and the “wastewater” hits the fan.Ray Hamel
