Shout-out!
We live in High River.
We reside in Sunshine, one of the last areas allowed in after June 20.
On a Sunday evening, after yet another day, another weekend of exhaustive cleaning, a white minivan pulled up in front of our home.
To our surprise and delight, they were delivering homemade quiche to residents cleaning their homes.
They knew we were just too consumed in our tasks to even think about dinner!
We had a wonderful conversation, finding these folks lived in Olds and that the lady of the house lived in High River 20 years ago.
They and their three teenagers felt compelled to help the residents.
We just wanted to pass along a sincere thank you to this family.
Their kindness, generosity and family spirit will never be forgotten.
