We want to take the opportunity to commend MVC Council for placing top priority on reviewing its Memorandum of Agreement (MOAs) with its municipal neighbours and taking active steps towards cooperation with the creation of a council committee to meet individually with municipalities. We agree that this is a strategic priority especially as it relates to the ongoing Municipal Development Plan review process.It is our sincere hope that this signals a desire to rebuild relationships, recognize ongoing agreements and establish a regional approach to economic development.
