Doctors' Appreciation Day, or as it is known in many parts of the world, National Doctors' Day, is an internationally recognized event, held annually around the world.
The purpose of setting aside this day is to recognize and show appreciation to our physicians for their dedication and work in our society. Attracting and retaining physicians is a critical component of community and regional development.
As chair of the Olds Institute's Physician Attraction & Retention Committee, I would like to express our thanks and appreciation to our local team of physicians serving our community and the surrounding region on this National Doctors' Day, March 30.
We appreciate the work you do at the Wild Rose Medical Centre, the Parkside Medical Clinic, at the hospital, the college, and in our seniors' housing facilities.
