I am a newcomer to Olds. I moved here in May 2016 after my husband passed away. My children are here and it was logical that I come here to be close to them.

My children are here and it was logical that I come here to be close to them. They found this lovely trailer in the Silver Lynx Mobile Home Park and helped me purchase it.
I still cannot believe my good fortune in having the neighbours that I have: Anita and Rick Jones on the south side and Diane and Bob Craig on the north.
From Day 1, they have shown me such help and kindness that it is hard to put into words. For all they have done, I want to publicly thank them.
I want to add that everyone in this park is so friendly and kind it has made coming here so much easier.
The town of Olds has also been very welcoming: from the credit union to doctors, drugstores, to retailers. Thank you to all of them.
I shall soon be 80 years old, with some health issues and vision loss, so you can understand my gratitude for all the help and kindness shown.
