Ya! That's his name!

Because! He's Green!

Ya know! In the spring, as you see a grain field turning into a beautiful shimmering carpet, yer seeing Green — one of the associates doing the best for others.

Let me tell ya what Green told me about himself.

Green, before he worked his way through the earth, he had this sensation that overwhelmed him. He didn't know where this sensation came from, but he knew he had to be doing something, or, he'd be dyin' right there, held captive by The Darkness. He said he didn't know why, but he had this overwhelming drive to get away from that deadening cold and find The Light.

When asked, he said the first thing he knew was there's this deep cold from The Darkness pressing in on him from every side. As this cold damp feeling soaked into him, it made him shiver.

Then another feeling came to him, and he had this tremendous urge to be breaking outta that wet, cold shell he'd been held captive in.

Ya! He said as he pushed through that cold, soggy shell, a warmth surrounded him. With this warmth, excitement exploded in him and he knew, he's alive! This warmth compelled him to search for The Light. As he struggled on, he saw a glow above him.

Excitedly he said, “Ya know! At seeing The Light, I knew for sure, it's true!”

Now, nothing could stop him, as a driving excitement drove him to fight harder to get to The Light. He thought, then said, “Ya know! I've known The Darkness who held me captive!” He paused and with relief said, “I never wanta go back!”

With inner strength he scrambled towards The Light. Then as he broke from the confines of the earth The Light greeted him and filled him with warmth.

At first he's yellowy green and has a tenderness, a warm gentleness as he did the best for the others no matter what it cost him.

What a peace filled him as he lived this real, true and loyal life of tenderness in honour of The Light. He always had a newness, a fresh view of life, a softness that drew others to him.

You see! Over time, Green changed and became darker in complexion. As his colour changed so did his life. He produced an abundance of good as he gave life to others. After giving everything he had, he lay down to rest, knowing he'd lived his life for The Light and others.

Green, he lived a rich, tender life that emerged from the eternal, fed and nourished others from a refreshing well-being and a satisfying peace and tenderness that surpasses anything anyone can imagine.

In the spring look and see the tender shimmering fields of grain and remember Green, a true friend who tenderly gives for the best of others!
