Innisfail Province or Penhold Province?

I have lived in Innisfail for 38 years and love my community. The local newspaper has always been part of my weekly reading, until recently. Now that I find there is so much coverage of Penhold I have lost interest.

I would like to see a better balance of articles please. Some shorter ones would be nice too.

Here are a few suggestions for articles about Innisfail that to my knowledge have not been covered.

How about an update and recent picture of our new Innisfail golf course clubhouse. It is looking magnificent.

The ski hill is a busy place and I have not seen a picture of the action out there.

Local minor hockey has signed a new contract with an out-of-town business, taking business out of Innisfail. Why?

A new seniors' residential area is in the works for Innisfail. How about some details.

What is happening at the drop-in centre?

Beautiful hoar should make a great picture for the paper.

The corner of Highway 54 and 42 Street is a very dangerous intersection. It's difficult to even see the turn in the dark, especially in the wintertime with snow falling. Why can't the town put up a reflector?
