I've been reading and following the skatepark difficulties for over a year. I read with dismay the problems associated with noise, placement, etc.
What I do not understand is why can the skatepark not be placed exactly where it is today. There is plenty of room, it won't bother anyone and it won't cause nuisance noise.
If the town is worried about graffiti, why not hold an annual graffiti contest to see who does the best street art. It seems logical to me to keep the park where it is rather than raising all these issues for a change in location.
