I am writing this out of frustration with the law that does not allow people --unless they live on an acreage or farm -- to buy product that kills weeds but not grass.
The province needs to change the provincial flower from the wild rose to the dandelion. The sea of yellow in this town is outrageous. All the town of Olds does is mow down the dandelions, often after they have gone to seed, which then spreads the problem.
To say people do not know how to apply product is an affront to us all. I used to Weed & Feed my lawn every year and had a wonderful lawn. Now I fight the weeds with no gain.
Change the law so we can fight the noxious weeds including dandelions as they are so hard to kill and spread like wildfire.
