Canadians who support Trump (a.k.a. CINOs: Canadians in Name Only) and his ilk such as Sean Hannity (Fox News), Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones, Peter Downing, Wexit, and folks who are separatists, white nationalists, gun-toting Second Amendment fans, anti-vaxxers, anti-science, anti-history, anti-facts/truth, should consider moving south. Why stay, if they won’t support Canadian values – law, order and good government – culture and history?
Maybe they should listen to Merle Haggard’s words “Love it or leave it!” Canada may not be perfect, but it ranks in the top 10 countries of the world every year. Not so with America.
Here are a few things to consider before heading south: One: Mass shootings: One or more mass shootings per day. No one is safe there. Not in schools, churches, theatres, sporting events, funerals, weddings, court houses, shopping malls, or highways.
Two: Health care: Private health care in America is expensive - nearly twice the cost for Canadian health care. Americans owe over $220 billion in medical debts. Nearly 60 per cent of all bankruptcies in the U.S. are attributed to health-care costs. In the U.S., health care is a privilege not a right like it is in Canada - although some Canadian politicians want to privatize our health-care system. Why? Money talks.
Three: Public education in the U.S. has been going down the toilet for the past 50 years thanks in part from private school supporters and from politicians who don’t like teachers discussing racism, bigotry and persecution of women, Jews, blacks, Hispanics, Mormons, Asians, gays, migrants and immigrants in the schools.
However, there are politicians and clergy in Canada who want to spend more taxpayers money on supporting private schools and charter schools where such schools won’t teach “woke” stuff. In several “red states” (those dominated by the Republicans/GOP - Grand Old Phoneys) are forcing public schools to use the Bible and to instruct Christian teachings (violation of the US Constitution). Not enough that children can be taught religion at home, in Sunday schools, in churches and in private schools. The political and religious zealots are never satisfied until they make everyone confirm to their beliefs.
Four: If Canada does become the 51st state, Canadian women will lose their “rights” which are now protected in the Charter of Rights and Freedom in the Canadian Constitution. In several “red states”, women are now fourth class citizens (not second or third) below the power of the politicians, the clergy and even fetuses. Ever hear of “Jim Crow laws”?
The U.S. does not have an equal rights protection for women except in federal jobs. However, this week, Trumpus Maximus fired two high ranking women admirals from the Joint Chiefs of Staff (Pentagon). After all, he is a misogynist. He despises strong women, and he said he could grab women by their private parts because he was rich and famous.
Remember: Canada is not for sale. And Canada Strong and Free!
