If any readers know any of the (hopefully few) folks who have punched out and stolen multiple orange campaign signs (in the district) recently, please pass along to them this thought: a criminally aggressive and fraudulent strategy may well backfire.
It demonstrates a kind of energy that is precisely opposite to what I believe people want in this province.
I know I want communities and leadership where diverse life experiences, and therefore perspectives, are attentively considered.
It is a democratic responsibility to respect political campaign signs.
Offensive disregard paints a very poor picture of the perpetrator.
