Letter: Is that really what we want?

Like it or not, ripping the UCP apart leads to one likely outcome for the next provincial election
opinion

I am amazed and deeply concerned by all the recent infighting, back stabbing and open defiance of the UCP government by Albertans who claim to be conservatives.

I don’t support everything the UCP government has done either, but Rachel Notley and her NDP team must be on cloud nine. The way Alberta conservatives are acting, the NDP are a shoo-in to become our next government. We are handing the next election to the NDP on a silver platter.

Is that really what we want? I would agree that Premier Kenney and the UCP government have made some really poor decisions, but I would still rather have this government than an NDP government led by Ms. Notley and her company.

It is time Alberta conservatives woke up and realized we really only have two realistic choices in the next election: UCP or NDP.

Like it or not, ripping the UCP apart leads to one likely outcome for the next provincial election. I’m pretty certain Alberta conservatives will find an NDP government even less to their liking.
