I think that the writer is right on again and is speaking for a large number of people who tend to remain silent.
Premier Smith's meeting with Mr. Carlson was in poor taste, as a minimum, but a slap in the face to many of us who also do not tolerate bigots and public folks who just make up their own facts.
This meeting was just as dumb and scary as her interest in one of Donald Trump's former medical advisors.
It seems more often that she is truly trying to make Alberta the equivalent of a red American state.
