Sundre will never be on the “naughty list” again.
Our Children’s Christmas Market was organized within a seven-day period after the cancellation of the original event and truly exceeded all expectations.
We opened early and ran for two days, with the collective effort allowing us to spread joy beyond the original main mission of the market, which teaches our children about the joy of giving and not just receiving.
But this year became more.
We boosted many local businesses, spread joy through volunteering and being together, there was never a shortage of volunteers or a call for help unanswered, we were able to supply presents to all family members without limit, we ran out of lists at 360 and used the back of the paper for about 70 more, opened up to all Sundre residents to spread random acts of kindness throughout our community and saw about 50 more people, who took on the mission of brightening someone’s Christmas.
We also made 200 gift bags for all the seniors in our community and spread multiple acts of kindness to those less fortunate offering gift baskets, gift cards and money that were all gifted by our beautiful community without question.
Sundre, I have never doubted you. Thank you, sincerely, for proving me right.
Sarah Kennedy,
Sundre
