The Town of Olds has an amazing group of people working for them, from the office staff to the town crew.
It is time for Olds to show our appreciation for all their hard work.
We have appreciation days for everyone and every thing. It is time to have an appreciation day for them. This should include our summer hires. Why not include a pancake breakfast or barbecue for them. Remember, we would be living in a backwards dump if it were not for them.
I would also like to ask if we could keep one outdoor toilet open in the winter for those of us who walk in each of the following areas: Heartland Green; Centennial Park; Rotary Park; and Winter Lake. We know it can be done and it comes at a cost, but it would be appreciated.
