Outstanding high school musical

Last Saturday, Dec. 3, I went to see the high school musical, The Drowsy Chaperone. I try to go when I can, as the school always puts on an amazing show. This year was no exception.

Last Saturday, Dec. 3, I went to see the high school musical, The Drowsy Chaperone. I try to go when I can, as the school always puts on an amazing show. This year was no exception. It was a phenomenal production and that needs to be shouted from the rooftops.

The students who were in the show were exceptional. Without a doubt, every single one was unbelievable, with special mention of the narrator. His acting, his humour and timing were unbelievable, to take nothing away from the rest of the cast; they were all amazingly good.

This show would stand up for itself on Broadway. Yes, they were that good, and quite honestly, I am a terrible back-seat critic, so praise from me is praise indeed.

The team that put this production together is nothing short of amazing. I think Rhonda West, the drama teacher, should get a special mention, as I cannot begin to imagine the work she must have put in to make this production the success it was. The acting, the singing, the choreography and the costumes were outstanding.

Well done, Olds High School; a standing ovation from me and I'm sure from many others, too.
