Regarding story, “Candidates throw hat in ring for May 2 election – Province, March 29, why are only four candidates running in this area?
The media keeps telling us that the ' Bloc' under Duceppe is a national party and their leader is to take part in a national debate.
How can this be? The Greens under Elizabeth May field candidates in every riding in Canada and yet the media says she is not welcome in a national televised debate.
The 'Bloc' only fields candidates in Quebec. Doesn't this make them only a provincial party? Duceppe graciously accepts money from the Canadian taxpayers yet does not represent anyone from another province.
Are my Charter rights being violated here?
As a taxpayer, I am paying for the 'Bloc'. Shouldn't they field a candidate in my riding? Isn’t this a sort of taxation without representation?
The media omits facts, creates stories and manipulates the truth to distort events all in the name of profits. Can anyone really believe what is said in the press?
So far the media has told us that both Layton and Ignatieff do not really understand how the economy works.
They both believe they can spend money they do not have. It has to be earned first. "Iggy " wants to raise corporate taxes. If a company cannot make a profit in Canada because of too 'pricy' goods then they will move there manufacturing plant elsewhere. How many Canadian made garments have you seen in store lately?
World opinion comes down as applauding Canada's performance in coping with the recession. Their programs seem guaranteed to stay the course and balance the budget by 2015.

Harper is determined to ban the taxpayer subsidy of political parties, a move long overdue.
I am surprised that Layton wants to 'steal' doctors and nurses from other countries when these countries need every healthcare worker they have. Ignatieff is touting motherhood, family, youth, etc but is short on job strategy and ways to pay for it all. One cannot lower taxes and increase spending at the same time.
What this election really boils down to is - Do you really want a coalition government formed by Duceppe, Ignatieff and Layton? Do you also want an American as Prime Minister of Canada?
