What is the federal government doing -- or not doing -- regarding illegal immigration into Canada?

Do immigrants walking over our southern border get to the front of the line, ahead of those who follow the proper (legal) application process? Those who follow the proper application process have been trying for years to come into Canada.

Do the people walking across the border and those who make proper application get automatic health care and social assistance? If yes, for how long?

This year, more than 600 people crossed illegally into Canada through Quebec during Easter weekend alone. Reports say more than 10,000 crossed into Canada illegally during the first three quarters last year.  Do we have proper identification of those people to ensure our Canadian security?
