All the landowners affected by this study should get independent consultants to review this study and advise the owners on how accurately the analysis affecting their lands has been done. How much is it just judgment and opinion?
Once the maps have been adopted by the county it is written in stone. So now is the time for owners to go before the council and register their concerns and try to get some relief. I myself as consultant have tried to help the owners in the past in the Calgary flood plain, but without success. Once the map is adopted no changes are accommodated.
