My father, Alba Wayne Hall Sr. was born in Olds in 1910, I believe on June 18 or thereabouts.
His sisters were Mildred, Margaret and Maybert; there was another son who died as a child. I believe my grandfather was also Alba W. Hall, but the middle name was possibly Webster or Winston. It was changed every third generation, always with a W.
I think Alba refers to Alberta or the Albion cliffs of Dover, unusual for a male first name. My elder brother is Alba Wayne Hall Jr.
I am trying to find out if anyone remembers the Hall family. They have a small burial plot and the family home is a historical monument, I believe Queen Anne or Tudor architecture.
