Ya! True!
A real tough character and an associate who's doing the best for others.
Let me tell ya about True!
True's a very friendly guy who's always poking ya! He's wanting ya to know you're part of the family. If he isn't poking ya, it's saying you're not part of what's up.
True's part of a big family and Truth's his cousin. Ya! It's the same Truth. He's dressed up now. It seems I've always known both True and Truth. The both of them and I grew up together, we're good friends. They're always there for me. They're guys who'd give ya their shirts if ya needed them.
True, he's had hard times. Right now, he's struggling with the Darkness that's settling in, and what's taking place. Seems when he's needed most, everyone's going with the popular guy, Untruth. Untruth is the hero for now. The girls think he's cute. Great looking hair. Seems Untruth's getting the attention. Photo ops and all. The media's chasing him and he's giving them the line. But ya know, Untruth has a tendency to be leading people astray from what they know is right.
Here's where I've watched my friends True and Truth. Untruth's all over the place, yer not sure of him, where True and Truth, they're not changing. They're always the same. Straight on, no hedging, or dodging on anything. They're always giving ya the honest goods. What they say, is what they both say. And what they do, is what they both do. Ya can count on them every time.
True's like a massive huge rock. Like the one at Rocky Mountain House. That massive huge rock, it's been there when the first people discovered it. It's there when David Thompson's coming by, and it's still there when True, Truth and I grew up there. Ya know, that rock, it hasn't decided to go to the Calgary Stampede and forget to come home. Like True and Truth, it's not moving.
It's in the same place. Ya can count on it being there.
With True, there's no guilt, no problem remembering stuff he told ya, he's at peace. He's always, True.
Look! There's been times when True's had to get after me, for kinda talking with Untruth, to save my sorry hide. But ya know, when he brought in his cousin Truth, I had to be true to them.
No matter how many times I come back to True and Truth, they're standing in The Light smiling at me. They're knowing that as long as they're my friends I'll be doing OK.
They're both tough! They're not giving in on anything that's for Untruth. True will fight to the end, to make sure his cousin Truth is known. Yet, they're like Green and Soothe, tender and gentle as they're doing the best for others no matter what it's costing them.
Ya know! When ya see the one, ya see the other!
