Montreal police investigate death of 18-year-old in alleged drive-by shooting

Montreal police say an 18-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting Sunday night in the city's northeast. Police say someone in a vehicle opened fire on the pedestrian at around 10 p.m. in the Anjou borough.

Montreal police say an 18-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting Sunday night in the city's northeast.

Police say someone in a vehicle opened fire on the pedestrian at around 10 p.m. in the Anjou borough.

The man was hit with at least one bullet and died in hospital.

Montreal police say no arrests have been made in connection with the city's sixth homicide of the year.

Police deployed technicians and a canine unit to canvass the crime scene.

Investigators are looking for witnesses.
