Morrison scored twice in the 67's 4-2 win over the Oshawa Generals on Saturday, giving the top-seeded 67's the best-of-seven opening Eastern Conference series 4-2.

Luca Pinelli and Brady Stonehouse had the other goals for Ottawa. Vinzenz Rohrer chipped in with two assists. Goaltender Max Donoso stopped 33 shots.

Ryan Gagnier had a goal and an assist for the Generals, who outshot the 67's 35-32. Calum Ritchie scored the other Oshawa goal, while Jacob Oster made 28 saves.

Both teams went 1-for-3 on the power play.

FLINT, Mich. — Coulson Pitre's goal at 4:53 of overtime completed the comeback as the Flint Firebirds edged the visiting Saginaw Spirit 4-3 to force a winner-take-all Game 7 showdown in their first-round, best-of-seven playoff series.

The Spirit led 3-1 with 10 minutes left in Saturday's game when Nolan Dann scored his second goal of the game for the Firebirds to make it 3-2. Then at 14:10 of the third, Zacharie Giroux scored to tie the game and force overtime.

Joey Willis, Zayne Parekh and Hunter Haight scored for the Spirit, who outshot the Firebirds 35-31.

Game 7 is Monday in Saginaw, Mich.
