Police north of Montreal probe discovery of bodies of two men in apartment

LAVAL, Que. — Police in Laval, north of Montreal, have opened an investigation after the bodies of two men were found inside an apartment Wednesday morning. According to sources, the deaths are being looked at as a murder-suicide.

LAVAL, Que. — Police in Laval, north of Montreal, have opened an investigation after the bodies of two men were found inside an apartment Wednesday morning.

According to sources, the deaths are being looked at as a murder-suicide.

A 43-year-old man and a 70-year-old man are dead.

Laval police were led to the apartment building in the Laval-des-Rapides district just after 10 a.m. following a call from Montreal police requesting a wellness check.

Const. Stéphanie Beshara said police officers found two bodies inside, both unresponsive.

Investigators were dispatched to the scene, and a heavy police presence was noticeable in the neighbourhood.
