ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. — Andrei Loshko had three goals and two assists, Antonin Verreault had one goal and five assists, and the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies trounced the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 11-0 on Thursday night in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League.

Samuel Savoie scored twice, while Samuel Rousseau, Jérémy Langlois, Benjamin Brunelle, François-James Buteau and Ty Higgins also scored for Rouyn-Noranda (33-13-5).

Goaltender William Rousseau kicked out all 25 shots to earn a shutout as the Huskies snapped a two-game skid with the emphatic victory.

Titan goalie Antoine Keller saved 2 of 5 shots while fellow netminder Joshua Fleming saved 30 of 38 shots for Acadie-Bathurst (23-23-5).

Savoie opened the floodgates 2:12 into the first period with a power-play goal, and the Huskies scored three more times in the three minutes.

Royun-Noranda ultimately jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first period, before adding three in the second and an 11th in the third.

HALIFAX — Jake Todd knocked in the game-winning goal at 15:44 of the third period as the Halifax Mooseheads edged the Saint John Sea Dogs.

Jan Sprynar and Peter Reynolds also scored once for Halifax (32-12-8). Mooseheads netminder Mathis Rousseau stopped 25 of 27 shots.

Eriks Mateiko and Olivier Groulx scored for Saint John (16-28-6). Sea Dogs goaltender Patrick Leaver stopped 31 of 34 shots.

TIGRES 5 ARMADA 3

BOISBRIAND, Que. — Nikita Prishchepov produced a goal and two assists as the Victoriaville Tigres downed the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.

Pier-Olivier Roy, Francesco Iasenza, Tommy Cormier and Egor Goriunov also scored for Victoriaville (31-15-3). Tigres netminder Gabriel D'Aigle stopped 32 of 35 shots.

Olivier Filaj, Zachary Wheeler and Thomas Paquet all scored once for Blainville-Boisbriand (22-22-5). Armada goaltender Olivier Ciarlo saved 27 of 31 shots.
