Beautiful day for a barbecue

Considering all the recent rain, the weather could not have been better for the annual seniors' barbecue and car show held Friday, Aug. 26 at the new Mountain View Seniors' Housing campus of care in Sundre.

Considering all the recent rain, the weather could not have been better for the annual seniors' barbecue and car show held Friday, Aug. 26 at the new Mountain View Seniors' Housing campus of care in Sundre. Pictured here are Myrna and Gerry Isaac, who live in Calgary but spend weekends at the Riverside RV Village. They are taking a look at a 1940 Ford Sedan Deluxe, owned by Don Oliphant from Cochrane. "It's a good year," said Gerry about the vehicle. "It's the year I was born!"
