SUNDRE – A collision on Highway 22 north of Sundre Saturday has affected traffic.
“Sundre RCMP is currently on scene at a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway 22 at Highway 587 (at the river). Traffic cannot get through the area at this time. Please take an alternate route,” police said in a press release issued just after 6 p.m. Oct. 26. “An update will be sent when more information becomes available.”
A 5:55 p.m. 511 Alberta social media post noted that Township Road 343 north of Sundre was closed due to a motor vehicle collision.
“Use an alternate route,” it advised.
Highway 22 intersects Township Road 343 just north of the bridge over the James River.
