With last week’s snowfall that was accompanied by a deep freeze that at times saw temperatures dip down to bitterly cold lows of -30 C and even lower with the wind chill factor, prompting officials to declare numerous extreme cold warnings, Sundre’s road crew has had its hands full keeping the streets clear.

Conditions are barely expected to improve during the coming week, with the forecast still calling for high temperatures that are largely anticipated to remain in the below freezing double digits.
