Pre-trial set for breach of public trust case

A trial date has been set for a Caroline woman who was serving as treasurer for the Sundre Community Van Society when she was charged with breach of public trust.

Robin Strub is alleged by the society to have misallocated approximately $6,300 on unauthorized expenses such as personal payments, cellphone bills and fuel between April and June of 2018, police had reported.

According to an inquiry submitted on July 5 to the provincial court media service, Strub’s next court date is scheduled on Oct. 21 for a pre-trial conference in Didsbury, followed on Nov. 27 by a preliminary hearing.
