Sundre EMS personnel treat a woman struck by an SUV at the intersection of Main Avenue and 2nd Street West on Sept. 12. The woman was taken to Sundre hospital by ambulance. "She was conscious and aware but a little bit banged up," Sundre RCMP Const. Eric Morris said at the scene. The intersection has an unmarked crosswalk on 2nd Street, he said. The 84-year-old male driver of the SUV has been charged under the Traffic Safety Act with failing to proceed safely after stopping.
