Gallery: Exploring the Sundre-area's Christmas winter wonderland (5 photos)

Annual display of Christmas lights and decorations adorning rural acreage immediately west of Sundre available to all

SUNDRE – Residents searching for a bright, colourful display of Christmas lights and decorations to help stir up some holiday spirit don't need to go very far.

The acreage immediately west of town on the south side of Highway 584 not far past the West Fraser Sundre Forest Products mill has once again been converted into a winter wonderland that people are welcome to explore at their leisure and at no cost.

However, anyone who is so inclined can offer a donation and sign a guest book to share well wishes with the acreages owners – Al and Jackie Forbes – who for years have maintained this annual tradition.

As the sizeable display can take some time to venture through, people who prefer not to be rushed and would rather take their time soaking up the sights and perhaps along the way take some photos should bundle up on cold nights.
