Sundre Mayor Annette Clews presents recreation and culture grant cheques to community organization representatives during last week's council meeting. Receiving grants are the Sundre and District Historical Society ($7,244), Curling Club ($7,257), Allied Arts Society ($6,357), Seniors Centre ($3,757) and Rodeo and Race ($3,632). The funds are to be used exclusively for operating costs such as power and sewer, all the groups received 50 per cent of the amount they had requested.
