River Valley School student Andrew Bradley, who was named this year's honourary junior fire chief for a day, was all smiles behind the wheel of a fire truck at the Sundre Fire Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 24.

Members of the department, including Chief Marty Butts and fire prevention officer Frank Crouch, took Bradley out in the truck on a tour to a couple of businesses for fire inspections and later treated him to a burger.

"He was super excited and did an excellent job," said Butts.
