SUNDRE – Finding the necessary balance to more properly stretch during aquafit classes at the Sundre Aquaplex recently became a bit easier thanks to some new float boards that were obtained courtesy of a donation.

The indoor pool and fitness centre is administered by the non-profit Sundre & District Aquatic Society, which in 2022 received a $5,000 grant from EQUS for aquatic equipment.

A portion of the funds was to be allocated to replacing a water fountain, leaving plenty enough for the purchase of 17 adult aquafitness belts, 12 junior aquafitness belts, 20 Aqua Sphere Ergo Boards as well as 24 Sea Serpent Water Noodles.
