SUNDRE - Sundre High School conducted the 2020 graduation ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 29, a little later than usual due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A modified cap and gown ceremony kicked off the morning with pandemic protocols such as physically distancing family and friend cohorts, wearing masks, and sanitizing hands upon entry.
After the ceremony wrapped up, this year’s 72 grads had some time to prepare for the vehicle parade around town and prom later in the day.
Once at the rodeo grounds for prom, a grand march was held through the infield -- during which student bios were read.
The celebration finished with a bang when fireworks lit up the sky.
