Wild Pink Yonder Pinkest Little Town in the West volunteers Melanie Asplund and Nathan, Carly, Karen and Barkley Carrier paint pink breast cancer awareness ribbons on the Main Avenue boulevard on Monday. Each Sidewalk of Hope ribbon is being sold as part of the fundraiser, with the purchaser getting his or her name on the ribbon as well as the name of a person he or she knows who is a cancer survivor or who has passed away from the disease. Anyone interested in purchasing a sidewalk ribbon can call Karen Carrier at 403-638-3195 or 403-586-2294. So far, more than $10,000 has been raised in Sundre during the Pinkest Little Town effort. The Wild Pink Yonder trail riders, including Carly Carrier, will be arriving in town August 23., when a concert and BBQ will be held.
