Sudden death deemed non-criminal

The 2016 sudden death of a young male in his early 20s has been deemed non-criminal, the local corporal confirmed last week.

The sudden death of male in his early 20s in May 2016, which brought out forensics officers from Calgary, was deemed to be non-criminal, police reported.

The 2016 sudden death of a young male in his early 20s has been deemed non-criminal, the local corporal confirmed last week.

On May 30, 2016 Sundre RCMP officers, as well as other members from outside detachments, responded to a residence in the southwest part of town where a body was found. The Calgary medical examiner subsequently conducted an autopsy.

The nature of the death was not deemed criminal in nature, and the matter will not be further investigated nor any additional details made public, said the Sundre RCMP detachment’s Cpl. Joe Mandel.
