Sundre Arts Centre a packed house for Studio K Dance Gallery recitals

Fourth annual Merry and Bright Christmas recitals bring out approximately 320 people

SUNDRE – The Sundre Arts Centre was packed on Saturday for the two recitals put on by Studio K Dance Gallery.

The dancers were proud to present their fourth annual Merry and Bright Christmas recitals.

“With over 320 spectators, 66 dancers, 2 teachers, 25 volunteers, and a talented light and sound tech crew, the show was an incredible success,” said Kirsti Bennett, owner and instructor.

“The performance showcased the diverse talents of our dancers, from pre-ballet and pre-tap to jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, acro, and musical theatre,” said Bennett.

“Every moment was designed to dazzle and spread Christmas cheer, leaving the audience filled with holiday spirit!”

Followed by the holiday break, classes resume on Jan. 6 with the dance group quickly getting back into the swing of things as they prepare their routines for upcoming festivals and the year-end recital in late April.
