SUNDRE – Anyone who has not yet gotten around to carving out a pumpkin for their front porch in the lead-up to Halloween might consider dropping by the local fire hall.

The Sundre Fire Department is once again hosting its annual community pumpkin carving event on Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 5-9 p.m., and everything someone needs to create a jack-o’-lantern, including carving tools and pumpkins donated by Freson Bros., will be provided at the hall, which is located at 112, First Street NW.
