SUNDRE – A full slate of golfers recently hit the fairways at the Sundre Golf Club for the annual STARS Renegade Golf Tournament fundraiser.
There were 144 participants who came out on Friday, Sept. 15 to enjoy a casual game in support of a good cause.
Although organizers did not immediately have available an estimate on the amount raised this year, a spokesperson told the Albertan that last year’s event raised a little more than $9,000, and that about $250,000 has been raised in the event’s 32-year history.
