Sundre post office burglarized

Police are investigating a burglary at Canada Post in Sundre. On Monday, Dec. 24, the local RCMP detachment received a complaint of a break-in at the post office, which is believed to have occurred between Dec. 23 at 1 p.m. and Dec. 24 at 8 a.m.

Police are investigating a burglary at Canada Post in Sundre.

On Monday, Dec. 24, the local RCMP detachment received a complaint of a break-in at the post office, which is believed to have occurred between Dec. 23 at 1 p.m. and Dec. 24 at 8 a.m.

“Several mailboxes were forced open overnight,” reads a press release that states an investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity or who has information about the incident is encouraged to contact the Sundre RCMP detachment at 403-638-3675. Alternatively, tips can be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
