SUNDRE – A donation to the Sundre and District Aquatic Society from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #223 in Sundre will help keep patrons of the Aquaplex's indoor fitness centre in shape.

Several members of the local legion recently presented a $5,000 donation to the society, which operates the Sundre Aquaplex and indoor fitness centre, for the purchase of a new elliptical workout machine.

The funds were a combination of proceeds raised during the inaugural dinner and dance at the hall as well as the legion’s general funds.
